Roller Babies

My BOYZ in Norway

I found this clip on Mr. L's lap top. It must be from our vacation in Norway during the summer of 2006. My beloved babies - my soul mates. It's scary to see how much Alih has aged since then, he became old soon after we lost Carlos. His beloved brother. Now, Alih is old and stiff, and his crazy behaviour (of which we've always loved) has pretty much vanished. He's still amazing though! And lets not forget my beloved Carlos, my absolute SOUL MATE, our big BABY BOY (you can even hear Mr. L refer to him as "the Baby Boy" on the clip;)). We miss him sooooooo much! Despite great sadness of not having Carlos with us anymore, I feel truly fortunate for the many wonderful years we had with him.

Jag hittade den här filmsnutten på Mr. L's lap top. Det måste vara från vår semester i Norge, sommaren 2006. Min älskade hundungar - mina soulmates. Det är otäckt att se hur mycket Alih har åldrats sedan det här filmades. Han blev snabbt gammal efter att Carlos gick bort, hans älskade brosa. Nu är Alih istället gammal och stel, hans galna personlighet (som vi alltid älskat) har i stort sätt försvunnit. Men han är fortfarande supercool och världens mysigaste! Och så min älskade Carlos så klart, min absoluta SOUL MATE, vår stora BABY BOY (ni kan t.o.m. höra Mr. L kalla honom för det på clippet;)). Fy vad vi saknar CARLOS! Trots stor sorg och saknad efter Carlos känner jag mig väldigt lyckligt lottat när jag ser dessa filmsnuttar, för vi hade helt underbara år tillsammans.

Head first!!!

Dogs usually love all 4 seasons ... at least my dogs do. It's still winter and cold outside but we dream about summer. The clip below is from a day at the lake, a cloudy day last summer. But do you think Alih & James care about if the sun is out or not? NOPE! Lake + Play = AWESOME. ;)

Hundar tycker oftast om alla 4 årstiderna, åtminstone gör mina hundar det. Det är fortfarande vinter och kallt ute men vi drömmer om sommar. Filmsnutten är från förra sommaren, en molnig dag vid sjön. Men sol eller ingen sol är inte något Alih och James bryr sig om. Tok heller, bada är toppen oavsett! ;)

Surviving the Hudson

I'm sure you've heard about the plane that crashed in the Hudson river about a month ago. This is the audio tape from the cockpit - it is totally unbelievable that the pilot could remain so calm and composed. It sounds like this is something he does every other day. ;) When the air traffic controller asks the pilot where he would like to land, the answer at the end is "we're gonna be in the Hudson"... like it's no big deal.... Now, knowing that everybody made it out of the crash safely, one can laugh at the super calm pilot.

Ni har säkert hört talas om planet som kraschlandade i Hudsonfloden i New York för ungefär en månad sedan. Samtliga passagerare klarade sig utan skador vilket är helt otroligt, men lyssna på piloten hur lugn han låter. Helt otroligt faktiskt. På slutet när flygledaren frågar "var vill du landa?"... svarar piloten: "vi kommer vara i Hudson floden"... hahaha... ja, så här efteråt kan man faktiskt skratta åt det, när man vet att alla klarade sig oskadda.

A flying shoe...

I'm so sorry but I couldn't help but laugh when I saw this.... come on, admit it... it's a little bit funny... lol. And damn, President Bush dodged that shoe pretty fast... ;) I'm impressed, I had no clue he had such reflexes. lol.

The Swedish Idol

The Swedish Idol has a winner - Kevin Borg. He's an amazing singer and performer... he's already a pro as far as I am concerned. He is, and has always been, in a whole different league than the other contestants.

Here he is, singing the song written specifically for the winner (in other words, the song written for him) - With every bit of me...



He did an excellent job singing Nelly's song "It's getting hot in here". Not a song one would expect him to do well with, but he has continued to prove he can do just about anything.

Oh and one of my favorites - Leona Lewis. She was a guest on the Idol show last week. She's awesome.. She sang Forgive Me.

What the heck...

Snowing

It was snowing when I woke up. I headed out in the forest with my kids and some parts were really icy. Don't you think Alih walked on some snow-covered-ice, slipped and fell.. ahhhh...He scared me shit less, my heart almost stopped. But Thank God he was able to stand up and all 4 legs were still working. I swear, it is one of the worst feelings seeing your baby getting old. Alih was wild and crazy when he was younger, he loved nothing better than to run around and attack poor Carlos.:) In his mind he's still 2 years old, but his body is not .. and he knows that, so he keeps having to contain himself. Poor Baby!

After coming back home with Alih, it was time for James to do a little work. The WP harness came on (so did his new Obama T-shirt..hihi..) and we headed out. I tried having James off leash while he was pulling, and it went great. I was afraid he was gonna get too creative and get stuck somewhere, considering he's pulling a long chain. But no such thing. He seemed really content sticking to the road - or what do you think?

ps. How dark and boring is it not outside?.. this is around 11 A.M in the morning... :(

Hard At Work

This is how the big boys do it (see the clip)... Jayness takes it a little bit more easy, I must say. Rebel, the dog on the clip, weights 56 lbs and pulls 6613 lbs, 118x's his own body weight....Hm, let's see... James weights 67 lbs and the heaviest we've let him pull is approx. 440 lbs. :)

Stand Up

I have always loved Stand Up Comedy, and some of my favorite comedians are Katt Williams, Chris Rock and Dave Chapelle. I ALWAYS get a good laugh when watching them. As a young teenager in Sweden, my favorite "Stand Up Guys" were Lenny Norman and Jonas Gardell. :)

My #1 favorite right now is Katt Williams. I love this guy... I could pee my pants when I listen to this crazy dude, as a matter of fact, just looking at him makes me laugh. :)




Below: Dave Chappelle is someone I have loved for a long time, and this scene "a baby in the ghetto" is hilarious... Mr. L & I almost died laughing the first time we heard it...
