I'm confused

I seem to recall that a certain someone is not allowed up on the couch. Hmmmmm....

Snowy Friday

Alih left for his regular weekend retreat last night, but before he left, it was time for this week’s weigh in. He started “the diet” 3 weeks ago, and he has so far lost about 2 kg (4,4 lbs). I am so happy for the old one, and believe me, he is still being fed. :) It’s just a different light food for old dogs and he’s getting no additional little treats during the day. ;) We walked around the pet store after his weigh in and he LOVED it. Every single item in the store was thoroughly sniffed. :)

We got quite a lot of snow over night so it was high life according to James during our morning walk. We went to one of our normal spots, where he can be off leash during the whole walk. He managed to find a huge bird in a ditch, and took off chasing it. Yup – my wild pup! I just hope no bird lover saw that chase, considering the area is a bird sanction. lol. The bird is fine - PROMISE… and Jamie turned around after a shorter chase.

As we were almost back at the car, Jay started playing with me, bouncing around me and acting like a fool… and then, he pretended to be an American Football player ….and tackled me from behind. I thought it was a grown man attacking me … but oh no, it was just the Blue One. My bruised hip is hurting. :(

Take a wild guess

Mr. L and Jennifer Aniston have something in common. Guess what?

If you read this article you may figure out what it is... Hint: The same week, the same digits. :) And no, it's not the gray hair.

The whole world should be out celebrating...

The girls will be back yet again, this time with a sequel to their first hit movie - Sex & the City: The Movie - according to people.com
The sequel will come out in the summer of 2010. I cannot remember when I heard such great news... :)
I am happy. happy. happy. happy. happy.

So good...

Avocado

I’m not a super big fruit- or vegetable eater, but avocado I absolutely LOVE.

But did you know that avocados are poisonous to animals? Yes, it’s true, at least according to Wikipedia. Many animals will get sick or even die if eating avocado…
I had no idea!

Happy B-day, Jackie!

My cousin Jackie is turning 18 today... that's a big deal in Sweden considering she is legally an adult as of today, she can now get a driver's license, she has the right to purchase alcohol at bars and pubs... and let's not forget- she can get sent to prison. Let's hope you're not planning any trips to the joint, Jackie! ;)

Wishing you the best Birthday ever.

HAPPY, HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY!

WP Inside

Tonight's WP training was held inside as they are on Wednesdays. I did not get pics of all the dogs I'm afraid. The quality of the pics are not the best either, it's hard to take pics inside when the lighting is bad. I'm sure they could get fixed up a lot better in Photoshop, too bad I don't know how. ;)

ps. Till våra träningskompisar - jag kommer lägga ut mer bilder på forumet imorgon.

Snowy London

I cannot believe how much snow London and the rest of England have gotten. It has effected the entire transportation system in London. The tube system has been shut down except for one line according to the BBC news this morning, and all the buses have been taken out of service. Crazy!

I remember the chaos that erupted after the 7/7 bombings in 2005 when I lived there...it was madness, people were panicking over not being able to get home (don't get me wrong, I don't blame them). However, I think some of the buses were still in service then. Now, nothing seems to be working. I'm sure the taxi companies (if running) are crazy busy.

If that was Sweden nothing would never work around here..hihi... I don't recall ever having heard schools being closed or buses being taken out of service for some snow. Maybe it can happen in the North of Sweden when they get meters of snow.. I don't know. I do remember having arrived to school late a few times though, due to the school bus having slid off the road or gotten stuck in snow .... but if being unsuccessful in getting the bus on the road again, they would just call for another bus - and off to school we'd go. :) I know it's quite common in NYC too, that schools close and people stay home from work when they get a lot of snow. It's kind of the same thing when it rains in LA... madness breaks loose. I swear! :)

According to the news it seems more snow is to be expected in England during the day ...

Morning Walk

Super Bowl

We watched the Super Bowl last night. Well, since watching it live it was actually after midnight when it started here in Sweden, so we ended up falling asleep after an hour or so. hihi. But fortunately I did not miss Faith Hill's and Jennifer Hudson's performances - helloooo the most important part. ;)

However, we missed all the funny commericals (since they don't air here). :( Oh well...
