Shopping Trip

I have been on a shopping trip to a famous outlet on the Swedish West Coast with my parents. We also visited some relatives that live down there. It was a long day as we left at 5 A.M. in the morning but it was well worth it as it turned in to a great day!

För ett par veckor sedan var jag på en shopping resa till Ullared med mina föräldrar. Har bara varit där en gång tidigare och då var jag inte gammal. På senare tid har jag hört många prata om detta köpcenter så päronen och jag bestämde oss för att göra en resa dit. Och det var väl ok, hittade en del grejor fast jag förstår ändå inte riktigt hur det kan vara så populärt som det är, för det är en jäkla massa skit också. Vi passade i alla fall på att slå 2 flugor i en smäll då vi har lite släkt i dessa krokar som vi besökte. Det blev en lång men mycket trevlig dag!

Stockholm

Mr. L and I made a trip to the capital in early or mid July. The main reason for going was to meet up with a previous co-worker of mine from London. Peter and his girlfriend Kate came to see what Sweden has to offer, and I think they liked what they saw. They are originally from New Zeeland but live in London now-a-days. It was great fun seeing them again!

Mr. L och jag har hunnit med en resa till huvudstaden under sommaren. En föredetta arbetskamrat från London var nämligen här på semester tillsammans med sin flickvän. Peter och Kate är från Nya Zeeland men bor i London sedan flera år tillbaks. Det var deras första gång till Svedala fast jag tror de hade varit till Danmark för några år sedan. Det blev för oss en mycket lyckad dag och det var jättetrevligt att få träffa dem igen!

NYC, Part 1

Mr. L's family live in NYC which means we go there to visit every now-and-then. However, the last time we were there we decided to play "real tourists". For 1 week (out of 2 weeks) we actually stayed at a nice hotel in Manhattan and did all the tourist stuff tourists do. It was great fun! All the pics are coming from Mr. L's camera.

Mr. L's familj bor i NYC vilket betyder att vi är där och hälsar på då och då. Sist vi var där bestämde vi oss dock för att vara "riktiga turister". I en vecka (utav våra 2 veckor där) bodde vi på ett fint hotell i Manhattan och gjorde alla de där turistgrejorna som turister gör. Det var jätteroligt! Samtliga bilder kommer från Mr. L's kamera.

My BOYZ in Norway

I found this clip on Mr. L's lap top. It must be from our vacation in Norway during the summer of 2006. My beloved babies - my soul mates. It's scary to see how much Alih has aged since then, he became old soon after we lost Carlos. His beloved brother. Now, Alih is old and stiff, and his crazy behaviour (of which we've always loved) has pretty much vanished. He's still amazing though! And lets not forget my beloved Carlos, my absolute SOUL MATE, our big BABY BOY (you can even hear Mr. L refer to him as "the Baby Boy" on the clip;)). We miss him sooooooo much! Despite great sadness of not having Carlos with us anymore, I feel truly fortunate for the many wonderful years we had with him.

Jag hittade den här filmsnutten på Mr. L's lap top. Det måste vara från vår semester i Norge, sommaren 2006. Min älskade hundungar - mina soulmates. Det är otäckt att se hur mycket Alih har åldrats sedan det här filmades. Han blev snabbt gammal efter att Carlos gick bort, hans älskade brosa. Nu är Alih istället gammal och stel, hans galna personlighet (som vi alltid älskat) har i stort sätt försvunnit. Men han är fortfarande supercool och världens mysigaste! Och så min älskade Carlos så klart, min absoluta SOUL MATE, vår stora BABY BOY (ni kan t.o.m. höra Mr. L kalla honom för det på clippet;)). Fy vad vi saknar CARLOS! Trots stor sorg och saknad efter Carlos känner jag mig väldigt lyckligt lottat när jag ser dessa filmsnuttar, för vi hade helt underbara år tillsammans.

Road Trip

We went on a shorter Road Trip today. Left before lunch and were back home in the evening. It was nice! I took a lot of pics but please know, almost all the pics were taken from the car... a moving car. ;)

Vi drog iväg på en biltur i förmiddags, och var hemma igen i tid till kvällen. Nej, vi var faktiskt aldrig till Blåkulla. Jag hade kameran med men de flesta bilderna är tyvärr tagna i farten...därmed är bildkvalitén inte alltid den bästa.

Our Weekend Trip...

...was great fun! We stayed at the Hilton Malmö City and kept ourselves busy walking around the city, ate fabulous food and made a trip to the casino. On Saturday, we took the train over to Copenhagen, Denmark where we went on a guided tour of the city, made a visit to Christiania (shit, Venice Beach is nothing compared to these damn tree huggers :)), had fun at the famous Tivoli (an amusement park in the middle of the city), ate lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe... mm, I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff but let's put it this way - we kept ourselves busy the entire weekend. My feet were barking after all the walking. We were so lucky as we had BEAUTIFUL weather the whole time... well, as we were driving home the rain came but that was ok.

I can add that my dad managed to stay out of the ER while we were away (thank god) and the dogs behaved. We had a great & wonderful weekend trip but I always miss my furry babies a lot, so it is nice being back home with them again. :)
