Weight Pull Tävling

SWB Örebro (den WP förening James & jag tillhör) inbjuder till tävling den 1 augusti för de som är intresserade!

När: Lördagen den 1 augusti 2009

Plats: Örebro Hundkapplöpning, Vattenverksgatan, Bista Industriområde i Örebro

Start: Tävlingen börjar kl 13:00; Fun pull börjar kl. 09:00

Inträde: 20kr per vuxen

Visste du att en riktigt bra WP hund kan dra runt 40 gånger sin egen kroppsvikt???

Några av Sveriges och Finlands bästa WP hundar kommer att finnas på plats så nu har du möjlighet att se dem LIVE!

More DW training on our own this morning, we did short heavy pulls and he got to pull 2 tires + all his chains at once. We have been a bit lazy when it comes to WP- & DW training lately but it's time to get back on track. And after training comes play time. :) Search training is on the schedule for tonight - it's important to stay in shape, both mentally and physically. ;)

ps. I love Jay's serious look on the first pic as he's working. :)

Det blev mer DW träning på egen hand idag, vi körde tyngre start & stopp och nu fick han dra 2 däck + alla kedjorna på en gång. Vi har faktiskt varit lite slöa när det kommer till WP- och DW träning på sistone, men nu är det dags att komma igång igen. Och efter träning kommer lek, något som James tycker är toppen. :) Ikväll är det dags för sökträning igen - det är viktigt att hålla sig i form både fysiskt och psykiskt eller hur?! ;)

ps. Älskar Jay's seriösa uppsyn på första bilden då han jobbar för fullt. :)

Getting To Work

Tonight was WP training, first time on our new track. Nice! Alih came along and he sure enjoyed himself - it's always nice getting to meet some fellow doggies he said. :) He found a cool buddy in a dog called Midas. They were about the same size and both neatured boys. Only difference - Alih is soon to be 10 years old while Midas is about 18 months old. But who said age matters??!!! ;)

Blog Vacation

Alih, James and I have decided to take a summer break from our blog. That’s not to say we won’t post any pics but there will definitely not be any daily updates. We are taking blog vacation in other words. ;) We wish all of you a fantastic summer!!

Alih, James och jag har bestämt oss för att göra ett sommaruppehåll från vår blogg. Visst kan några nya bilder slinka in men det blir definitivt inga dagliga uppdateringar. Vi tar en blogg semester helt enkelt. ;) Önskar alla en jättetrevlig sommar!!!

GLAD MIDSOMMAR!

It is midsummer in Sweden today which means big celebrations across the country. A garland of flowers on top of the head is traditional for the girls to wear; Alih & James wore it around their necks instead. Well, James ran around with the garland in his mouth for awhile before someone managed to stop him. ;) Lots of food is also enjoyed during this holiday. :)
